Routine Cleaning of Surface Dirt and Debris
For the removal of normal surface dirt, wash and rinse the surface with clear water. It is recommended to use a garden hose and soft bristle brush.
Cleaning of Moderate to Heavy Dirt and Debris
It is recommended to mix one-third (1/3) cup of mild detergent (Example: Tide) with two-thirds (2/3) cup trisodium phosphate (Example: Soilax) to one gallon of water. Use a soft rag, sponge, or soft bristle brush with gentle rubbing action to clean the surface. DO NOT RUB VIGOROUSLY as this can cause damage to the coated surface. It is recommended to wash from the top of the house down to the bottom to help minimize streaking. Immediately rinse all washed surfaces thoroughly with a garden hose.
Cleaning of Mold and Mildew
It is recommended to mix one-third (1/3) cup of dry powdered detergent (Example: Tide) plus two-thirds (2/3) cup trisodium phosphate (Example: Soilax) plus 1 Quart 5% Sodium Hypochlorite (Example: Clorox, avoid eye and skin contact) to 3 quarts of water. Use a soft rag, sponge, or soft bristle brush with gentle rubbing action to clean the surface. DO NOT RUB VIGOROUSLY as this can cause damage to the coated surface. It is recommended to wash from the top of the house down to the bottom to help minimize streaking. Immediately rinse all washed surfaces thoroughly with a garden hose.
Caulking Compounds, Tar and Similar Substances
For the removal of such substances, use mineral spirits in reasonable amounts and apply directly to the foreign substance. Immediately after cleaning, rinse the washed surfaces thoroughly with a garden hose.
CAUTION: Do not exceed the recommended concentrations of cleaners. To do so can cause damage to the Products’ surface. Avoid skin and eye contact with the solution, and in all cases follow manufacturer’s instructions for the use of cleaning compounds and solutions. Avoid the use of abrasive-type cleaners and strong solvents. Test any cleaner on an inconspicuous areas before applying to major areas.
